The visa application process outlined is designed for individuals who have previously held a B211 Visa and now intend to apply as a student at the University of Mataram with a new sponsor. It’s essential to understand that this process typically takes around 1 month to complete. However, we highly recommend considering an alternative to temporarily leave Indonesia and apply for the E-Visa while you are abroad. By opting for this approach, you can enjoy a smoother and faster application experience. Applying for the E-Visa from outside Indonesia minimizes potential delays and complications, resulting in a more streamlined process overall.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We would like to highlight two important cautions regarding your visa status:

  1. Status Visa Must Not Expire: Ensure a Minimum of 30 Days Validity
It is crucial to maintain a valid visa status at all times during your stay in Indonesia. To avoid any complications or legal issues, it is imperative that your visa remains valid and does not expire. We strongly advise ensuring a minimum of 30 days’ validity on your visa to allow ample time for any necessary arrangements or extensions. It is your responsibility to monitor your visa expiration date and take appropriate action to renew or extend it in a timely manner.
  2. Restriction on Travel: Your Passport Will Be Held by Immigration for One Full Month
Once your visa application is submitted to the immigration office, please be aware that your passport will be retained by the immigration authorities for a period of one month. During this time, you will not have access to your passport and will not be able to travel outside of Indonesia. We kindly request your understanding and cooperation in complying with this requirement, as it is a standard procedure enforced by the immigration authorities.

We emphasize the importance of adhering to these cautionary measures to ensure a smooth and compliant stay in Indonesia. If you have any concerns or questions regarding your visa status or travel restrictions, please don’t hesitate to contact our office for further guidance and assistance.
