MATARAM– University of Mataram (UNRAM) proudly announces the commencement of an enriching academic and cultural exchange program at Shangrao Normal University, China. Scheduled from June 10th to June 21st, 2024, this event marks a significant collaboration between the two esteemed institutions.

A diverse group of participants includes eight students and two lecturers:

  1. I Wayan Agus Arimbawa, ST., M. (Eng)  – Lecturer from the Informatics Engineering Study Program
  2. Apt. Mahacita Andanalusia, S.Farm., M.Farm – Lecturer from the Pharmacy Study Program
  3. Siti Sulpiani Anjani  – Student from the Food Science and Technology Study Program
  4. EMY WAHYU UTAMI – Student from the Master of Accounting Study Program
  5. ROFIFAH AULIA AMANDA – Student from the Aquaculture Study Program
  6. Inas Nada Nailussulha – Student from the Mathematics Education Study Program
  7. Fathurrahman Yazid Tabrani – Student from the Agricultural Engineering Study Program
  8. Judandi Rizky Pratomo – Student from the Development Economics Study Program
  9. Rysma Fitria Ningrum – Student from the Master of Accounting Study Program
  10. Nur Annisa Azzahra – Student from the Management Study Program

Over the course of 10 days, participants will engage in a variety of activities designed to foster academic growth and cultural understanding. These activities include:

  • Class meetings and pairing sessions with Shangrao Normal University students
  • Learning Kung Fu and traditional Chinese dance
  • Participating in sports performances
  • Experiencing and watching traditional Chinese instrumental performances
  • Visiting local museums
  • Immersing in Chinese rural culture
  • Visiting the Great Wall of China

This exchange program not only enhances academic knowledge but also provides invaluable cultural experiences, reinforcing the strong collaborative relationship between UNRAM and Shangrao Normal University. Participants are expected to return with enhanced perspectives, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and academic practices.
