Mataram, April 15, 2025 — The University of Mataram (UNRAM) proudly announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Panpacific University, Philippines. The signing ceremony was held virtually via Zoom on April 15, 2025, marking the beginning of a promising partnership between the two institutions in the fields of academic exchange, research collaboration, and internationalization efforts.

The ceremony was attended by Professor Bambang Hari Kusumo, Rector of the University of Mataram, along with the Vice Rector for Planning, Collaboration, and Information Systems; the Dean and Vice Dean of UNRAM; the Head and Vice Head of the Office of International Affairs (OIA); and OIA staff.
From Panpacific University, the event welcomed Dr. Jane M. Fernandez, Vice President for Finance; Dr. Gina Lee M. Santos, Vice President for Human Resource Development; Mr. Kristoffer John C. Panem, Lead of the Internationalization Office; and three internationalization staff members.
In his remarks, Professor Bambang Hari Kusumo expressed appreciation to all parties involved, especially to Dr. Dewi Satria, for her significant role in initiating the partnership.
“I sincerely appreciate Dr. Dewi for initiating this collaboration, which was first discussed during the Global Internationalization Training at ITS Surabaya. Her efforts, along with the support from both universities, have made this partnership possible,” he stated.
Similarly, Dr. Jane M. Fernandez, Vice President for Finance at Panpacific University, expressed her gratitude to UNRAM, especially to Dr. Dewi Satria and Mr. Jobert from Panpacific University, for initiating the collaboration.

The MoU paves the way for future academic collaborations, including potential joint programs between Panpacific University and UNRAM’s Faculty of Engineering, as well as student mobility opportunities through the SEA Teacher Project with the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP).
This partnership signifies UNRAM’s ongoing commitment to expanding its global network and enhancing international education opportunities for students and faculty.
