Lombok, March 28, 2025 – The University of Mataram (Unram) welcomed a delegation from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) for an in-depth discussion on energy transition and sustainable development. The delegation, comprising one professor and 30 students, participated in a highly engaging session with Unram faculty members and representatives from local organizations.
The event commenced with opening remarks by Ibu Liana Suryaningsih Badrun, M.Sc., a lecturer at Unram and representative of AgriTC, followed by Prof. Bard Hastad from Stanford GSB. Prof. Hastad expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and extended his appreciation to Unram for organizing the event.
Representing the Rector of Unram, Prof. Dahlanuddin, Head of the Office of International Affairs (OIA), welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of the university’s initiatives in sustainability. He emphasized Unram’s commitment to fostering international academic collaboration and encouraged future partnerships between the two institutions.
The discussion featured four expert presentations from academics and representatives of non-governmental organizations:
