November 20, 2025 – Urdaneta, Philippines & Mataram, Indonesia — Panpacific University (Philippines), through its Internationalization Office, successfully conducted a collaborative webinar with Universitas Mataram (Indonesia) titled “Intercultural Dialogue: Cultivating Global Citizenship.” This program marks a concrete implementation of the cooperation agreement between the two universities and demonstrates their shared commitment to advancing international academic engagement.

Held via Zoom and streamed live on Facebook, the webinar gathered students, faculty members, and international participants to explore the role of intercultural understanding in shaping globally competent learners.

Universitas Mataram was represented by Dr. Dewi Satria Elmiana, who delivered insights on the importance of intercultural dialogue in preparing students to navigate global contexts with openness, empathy, and respect. Her presentation highlighted how higher education institutions can support global citizenship through inclusive learning environments and international exposure.

From Panpacific University, Rev. Fr. Severo Biton, SVD, Lic. Miss participated as one of the speakers, contributing to the academic exchange and reinforcing the commitment of both institutions to fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.
