Mataram, Friday, 25 July 2025 — The Office of International Affairs (OIA) of the University of Mataram had the honor of receiving a delegation from Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Mas Said Surakarta in a study visit focused on the management and development of international cooperation offices within higher education institutions.

The visiting delegation, comprising 10 representatives, was led by Dr. H. Abd. Faishol, M.Hum., Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Collaboration. Among the delegates were Hj. Fauziyah Dlimasari, S.Ag., M.H. (Head of General and Academic Affairs), Muis Zunanto, S.E., M.E. (Head of Academic Services), Wildi Adila, S.Pd.I., M.A. (Head of International Relations Office), along with six supporting staff members.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Sujita, ST., MT., Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni at the University of Mataram. He was accompanied by Professor Dahlanuddin, Head of the OIA, Dr. Dewi Satria Elmiana, Vice Head of the OIA, and apt. Mahacita Andanalusia, S.Farm., M.Farm, Coordinator for Global Mobility.

In his remarks, Dr. Sujita expressed his gratitude for the visit and emphasized the importance of such engagements in fostering mutual learning and strengthening inter-university networks. Dr. H. Abd. Faishol, M.Hum. also conveyed his appreciation for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to learn from OIA Unram’s experiences.

The discussion session was productive and insightful, covering key topics such as the management of international students, scholarship schemes for foreign students, and student exchange programs. The meeting served as a platform for sharing best practices and enhancing institutional strategies for internationalization.

Both institutions look forward to further collaboration, with hopes that this visit will pave the way for stronger and more sustainable academic partnerships in the future.
