Mataram, February 10, 2026 — The Office of International Affairs (OIA) of University of Mataram (UNRAM) officially welcomed a courtesy visit from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
The visit was conducted as part of efforts to strengthen institutional relations and explore potential academic collaboration between the two universities, particularly in the areas of international partnerships and global mobility programs.
During the meeting, representatives from USIM and OIA UNRAM engaged in constructive discussions on various strategic matters, including opportunities for student and staff mobility, collaborative academic initiatives, and future partnership frameworks. The discussion highlighted the shared commitment of both institutions to fostering international engagement and enhancing global academic cooperation.
The USIM delegation was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Azmir bin Mohd Nizah and Mohd Akashah bin Abd Rashid. Meanwhile, OIA UNRAM was represented by Dewi Satria Elmiana, Ed.D., Vice Head of OIA; I Wayan Agus Arimbawa, Coordinator for Partnership; and Apt. Mahacita Andanalusi, S.Farm., M.Farm, Coordinator of Global Mobility.
OIA UNRAM welcomed the visit and expressed its appreciation for USIM’s interest in strengthening cooperation with University of Mataram. The office reaffirmed its commitment to expanding meaningful international partnerships that support academic excellence and global engagement.
This courtesy visit is expected to further enhance collaboration between Universitas Mataram and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and pave the way for sustainable academic partnerships in the future.
