Mataram, 30 May 2025 – Universitas Mataram (Unram), through its Office of International Affairs (OIA) and ABC Corner, proudly hosted an exclusive masterclass titled “Workshop on Creating Hollywood-Quality Films on a Lean Budget” on May 30, 2025, at the Aussie Banget Corner (ABC) in the Unram Library. The event was held in collaboration with the Australian Consulate-General in Bali.
Led by award-winning Australian filmmaker Adrian Powers, the full-day masterclass brought together 20 selected Unram students—aspiring filmmakers, storytellers, and creative minds—for a rare opportunity to learn practical, industry-level filmmaking skills while working with limited resources.

- • Morning Session: A hands-on workshop on producing Hollywood-quality films on a tight budget, covering topics such as visual storytelling, resourceful filmmaking, and creative direction.
- • Afternoon Session: Screening of selected films followed by an engaging discussion with Adrian Powers, offering deep insights into the filmmaking process and the international film industry.
The event was also graced by the presence of Ms. Joe Stevens and Ms. Amelia Ekkel from the Australian Consulate-General in Bali, whose participation further underscored the shared commitment to strengthening Australia–Indonesia collaboration in the creative and educational sectors.
