Mataram, August 27th, 2024 – The University of Mataram (UNRAM) successfully organized a sharing session for lecturers entitled “Research Schemes and Funding Potential for National and International Collaboration.” The event featured an expert presentation by Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Faiz Syuaib, M.Agr., IPU, Director of Research, Technology, and Community Service. The session was moderated by Muhammad Bai’ul Hak, SE., M.App.Ec, Coordinator of Global Mobility at the Office of International Affairs, UNRAM.
In his opening remarks, the Rector of the University of Mataram, Prof. Bambang Hari Kusumo, Ph.D., emphasized the crucial role of research in the university’s academic mission and its broader impact on society. He underscored the importance of engaging in collaborative research initiatives at both national and international levels, which are key to advancing the university’s academic reputation and contributing to global knowledge.
During the session, Prof. Faiz provided an in-depth explanation of the newly opened research schemes for 2024 under the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service. He detailed the research flow for both national and international schemes and shared strategies for enhancing the quality, accountability, and reputation of academic journals. His presentation also covered various approaches to increase research impact and secure funding for collaborative projects.
