Mataram – July 2, 2024 University of Mataram (Unram) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The signing event was attended by important representatives from both universities, marking a significant step in fostering international collaboration.

The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Hab. Aldona Glinska-Newes, Vice-Rector for Cooperation with the Social and Business Environment at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, and Prof. Dr. Hab. Przemysław Nehring, Vice-Rector for Education. Their participation underscores the importance of this partnership in enhancing academic and professional development at both institutions.

The MoU covers a wide range of cooperative initiatives, including student and lecturer exchanges, joint curriculum development, and cross-disciplinary research. Both parties agreed to design joint programs aimed at supporting academic and professional growth.

In his speech, Prof. Bambang, the Rector of Unram, welcomed this partnership as an opportunity to increase international cooperation for Unram students and academic staff. “Through the signing of this MoU, we hope to establish collaboration in the field of research, and if possible, we will allocate funds to send one or two of our best staff and lecturers to Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń,” said Prof. Bambang.
