On January, 10, 2024, University of Mataram signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Embassy of Palestine in Indonesia and held a general lecture at Senate Meeting Room, Rectorate Building, University of Mataram.
The Rector of the University of Mataram, Prof. Bambang Hari Kusumo, welcomed the Ambassador of the Embassy of Palestine to Indonesia, Dr. Zuhair S. M. Al Shun to the University of Mataram. In his speech, Prof. Bambang expressed deep appreciation for him. He also explained briefly about the relationship between Indonesia and Palestine, which has existed for a very long time.
In line with Prof. Bambang, Dr. Zuhair conveyed his appreciation for the warm reception by the University of Mataram. He expressed his hopes for this educational collaboration. At the end of his general lecture, Dr. Zuhair humbly asked for the prayers of all students, emphasizing the continued need for support and solidarity from across the globe.
