Office of International Affairs (OIA) University of Mataram, located on Majapahit Street No. 62 Mataram (West Wing Rectorate Building, 2nd Floor), is a unit that focuses on a variety of collaborations with domestic and international institutions. Under the Vice Rector for Planning, Collaboration, and Information Systems, our tasks include bridging, accommodating, and facilitating all forms of domestic and international collaboration. It is in accordance with OIA’s tagline:

OIA specifically offers services for international students/partners as well as UNRAM’s students, lecturers and staff which include Study Permit for international students, Stay Permit (Visa) for international students/partners, collaboration initiation assistance like drafting MoU, MoA, and IA, and many more.

In the past years, UNRAM’s international partnership was limited to a few international institutions from Asia, Australia, and America. However, UNRAM currently has been undertaking an increasing number of international collaborations and has grown rapidly in a short period of time. These collaborations are in the fields of student exchange, exchange of visiting researchers and lecturers, joint projects, joint supervision, joint research, exchange academic staff, non-degree training, exchange of scientific material, joint seminars or workshops, and curriculum development. Those collaborations are expected to go hand in hand with the vision and mission of UNRAM to become an internationally competitive research-based higher education by 2025.
